Hair Love

Hair Love is a 2019 animated short film directed by Matthew A. Cherry, a Chicago native who is retired former NFL wide receiver. It follows the story of a man who must do his daughter's hair for the first time. The film won the Academy Award (Oscar's) for Best Animated Short Film in 2020.

Piper

Piper, written and directed by Alan Barillaro, was released alongside Pixar's Finding Dory in 2016. It won the Academy Award (Oscar's) for Best Animated Short Film. In the film, a hungry sandpiper hatchling ventures from her nest for the first time to dig for food by the shoreline.

Lifted

Lifted is a 2006 animated short film directed by Gary Rydstrom. In the film, things go horribly awry when a young alien tries to pass his `abduction test' under the watchful eye of his instructor.

Lost & Found

Lost & Found is a 2018 stop motion short film from Austrailia that tugs at the heartstrings. A clumsy crochet dinosaur must unravel itself to save the love of its life. Directed by Andrew Goldsmith and Bradley Slabe.
