SUMMATIVE: Gatorade Ad
Project Brief
Create a 30-second or 1-minute (exact) advertisement video for Gatorade (or a product of your groups' choosing).
Film Shots with group
In your camera group, film at least 30 different shots (at least 3 seconds each)
Split camera operation evenly with each group member
Shots should be in focus and exposed correctly
5 shots need to be in front of the green screen
5 shots need to use a color gel(s)
Upload Videos
Upload your videos to your iMac: "My Drive" > "Video Production 2" > "2 - Premiere Pro" > "Gatorade"
Find and Download An Image & Logo
Find an image and logo from Gatorade (or your product) that you want to use in your video
Download
Find Music
Go to Pixabay.com/music
Find a song you like. Remember you only need 30 seconds of audio.
Click "Download"
Move Files to Google Drive
Go to your Finder in your dock.
Move your footage, audio file, image, and logo to "My Drive" > "Video Production 2" > "2 - Premiere Pro" > "Gatorade"
New ProjecT
On the Import screen:
Next to "Project name" type "Gatorade Ad"
Click "Home" on the left menu
Navigate to "My Drive" >
"Video Production 2" > "2 - Premiere Pro"> "Gatorade" folderOn the right side, turn off "Create new sequence"
Click "Create"
Editing Requirements
The following requirements are skills that were practiced in our formative work. Don't remember? Review: Premiere Pro (Jones Soda) and Color Grading Intro.
10+ shots
1+ using green screen effect
1+ using a color gel(s)
1+ Gatorade image
1+ Gatorade logo
1+ text layer
Audio:
Mark the transitions/beats (8+ markers)
Align video/text transitions with audio markers
Color correct your footage
Color grade your video consistently
Video must be either exactly 30-seconds or 1-minute
Save Project
In the top menu, click "File" > "Save"
On Screen Grading
Ask Mrs. Hodges to on-screen grade your project.
Take a Screenshot of Your Editing Timeline
On your keyboard press "cmd" + "shift" + "5"
Move your screenshot to your Google Drive folder.
Export Your Video
In the top menu go to the "Export" tab.
The File Name should be "Jones Soda"
Double-click on the blue hyperlink next to "Location" and in the pop-up:
Click on "Video Production 2" > "2-Premiere Pro" > "Gatorade"
Click "Save"
Click "Export" in the bottom right corner.
