SUMMATIVE: Fanny Pack Footage
Project Brief
Film 6 different shots with 6 different apertures (chosen from specified ranges), shooting in 6 different locations. All 6 shots must use the correct shutter speed (1/60), auto ISO, and be in focus.
You will use this footage in the next unit's (Premiere Pro) summative.
This is an individual project: you must operate the camera for your own video (if you are in your own video, you need to set up the camera, press record, and then hop in front of the camera).
Create a New Portfolio Folder
Go to your "Video Production" > "2 - Camera" folder
Click "+ New" again then "New folder"
Name the folder: "Summative"
Double-click on your new folder to open.
Plan & Film
Get a printed version or go to: Fanny Pack Footage Plan & Notes
Complete the plan before/during filming.
Add Doc to Portfolio
Online: Move Google Doc
If you used the online version:
Click the folder/arrow icon near the doc name.
Navigate to "Video Production" > "2 - Camera" > "Summative"
Click "Move"
Paper: Use iPad to Scan into Google Drive
If you used the paper version:
On your iPad open Google Drive.
Navigate to "Video Production" > "2 - Camera" > "Summative"
Tap the scan icon in the bottom right of your screen.
Scan the front page. Then scan the back page.
Tap "Save (2)"
Tap "Upload"
Move 6 Shots to Portfolio
Plug in your SD card to your iMac
Navigate to "My Drive" > "Video Production" > "2 - Camera" > "Summative"
Drag your 6 shots to "Summative"
Rename Shots
Once the shots are in your Google Drive:
Rename according to the shot size:

Submit Google Drive Link to Canvas
Right-click on your "Video Production" folder
Click "Copy link to clipboard"
Paste this link in Canvas to submit.
