Background Noise
Find a location near construction that has noticeable construction noise.
On your iPad open the "Voice Memos" app.
Record at least 20 seconds of background construction noise.
Press the red record button to start/stop
Rename by tapping "New Recording" and typing "Construction background"
Tap "Done"
Off-Camera Voice Track
Find a quiet location in the school
On your iPad open the "Voice Memos" app
When recording, hold the iPad close to your face.
Record the following script:
"GK's 33,000 square foot construction expansion is scheduled to be complete by July. The new wing will allow the classes that are currently in the portables to move back into the main building."Press the red record button to start/stop
Rename by tapping "New Recording" and typing "Construction Voice"
Tap "Done"
Add Audio to Files
In the "Voice Memos" app on your iPad, tap on one of your audio files and tap the "..."
Tap "Share"
Tap "Save to Files"
Choose someplace to save it to.
Repeat for the other file.
Download The Videos
Go to the Construction Videos Google Drive folder
Download the 3 videos:
Tap on the "..."
Tap "Send a copy"
Tap "Save Video"
Repeat for the other 2.
Add Media To Premiere Rush
Open Premiere Rush
Tap the "+" then "Add Media"
In the "Camera Roll" area tap the 3 videos.
In the "Files" area, tap "Import from Files", then tap one of your audio files. Repeat for the other audio file.
Rename the Project Name "Construction"
Tap "Create"
Stack Audio
In the bottom left click the second icon from the bottom to show the different tracks/rows
Tap and drag your "Construction background" under your "Construction Voice" audio files (green rectangles)
Tap and drag your "Construction Voice" to the start.
Adjust Background Noise Volume
Tap the "Construction Background" rectangle and then tap the audio icon on the right.
Adjust the "Clip volume" down to 25.
Trim Ending
Your video and audio should all end at the same spot.
Tap and drag the ends so they all line up with each other.
Export
Tap "Share" in the top left.
Tap "Export"
Submit to Canvas
Go to the Canvas app
Find the assignment
Upload your video
