Green Screen (Chroma Key)
Record A Green Screen Videos
Record 3+ second video against the green screen in the studio.
Import your video to "My Drive" > "Video Production 2" > "2 - Premiere Pro"
Download a Background Video
Go to: https://pixabay.com/videos/
Download 1 video for your background green screen.
Move your downloaded video to "My Drive" > "Video Production 2" > "2 - Premiere Pro"
Open Premiere Pro
Log in to an iMac
Open Creative Cloud in your dock
Under the "Apps" tab, find Premiere Pro
Click "Open" to the right
Click "New Project"
Name Project
Next to "Project name" in the top left, name your project: "Green Screen"
Change the Project location to: "My Drive" > "Video Production 2" > "2 - Premiere Pro"
Import
Click "Home" on the left menu
Double-click "My Drive" > "Video Production 2" > "2 - Premiere Pro"
Select your greenscreen and downloaded video.
Click "Create"
Adjust Workspace
In the top menu, click "Window" > "Workspaces" > "Effects"
Stack Videos
Stack your green screen video on top of the downloaded background video.
Search for Effect & Drag
In the right-side toolbar, under "Effects" search "Key"
Drag "Ultra Key" onto your green screen video in the timeline.
Apply Key Color
In the left panel, choose "Effect Controls"
Under "Ultra Key" click the eye dropper.
Click on the green part of the video.
You can adjust the "Setting" to "Aggressive" if needed.
Adjust Scale or Position (If Needed)
If you need to adjust the scale (of either your background or green screen video) so the videos look better together:
Click on the video
In the "Effects Controls" area
Under "Motion" adjust the number next to "Scale"
If you need to adjust the position, rotation, etc. you can also do that here.
Export Your Video
In the top menu go to the "Export" tab.
The File Name should be "Jones Soda"
Double-click on the blue hyperlink next to "Location" and in the pop-up:
Click on "Video Production 2" > "2-Premiere Pro"
Click "Save"
Click "Export" in the bottom right corner.
Submit link on Canvas
Submit your Google Drive link
