Login to your iMac
Use your student email (Student ID # @students.bethelsd.org)
Use the password that you created
If you are prompted with a second password screen, it may be because you had an account on this iMac prior to the new passwords. On this screen use your old birthday password (mmm-dd-yyyy) ex: jan-01-2009

Remove Most Apps From Your Dock
To remove an app, right-click, then "Options" and click "Remove from Dock" or drag the app to the trash bin.
Keep the following:
Finder
Launchpad
Safari and/or Chrome
System Preferences
Downloads folder (this may look like a stack of files)
Trash
Add Creative Cloud
Open Launchpad
Open "Creative Cloud" (one of the rainbow icons - it might be in an "Other" folder)
In the dock right-click on the icon, then "Options" and check "Keep in Dock".
Add a Portal Shortcut
Open either Safari or Chrome
Go to portal.bethelsd.org
In Chrome: Highlight the url in the top bar. Click and hold on the url and drag it down to the dock by your downloads folder and trash.
In Safari: Click on the icon to the left of the URL and drag it down to the dock by your downloads folder and trash.
Release and it should turn into a globe icon.
Add a Class Website Shortcut
Open either Safari or Chrome
In Chrome: Highlight the url in the top bar. Click and hold on the url and drag it down to the dock by your downloads folder and trash.
In Safari: Click on the icon to the left of the URL and drag it down to the dock by your downloads folder and trash.
Release and it should turn into a globe icon.
Your dock should now look like this:
Login to Creative Cloud
Click on the rainbow Creative Cloud icon in your dock.
Click "Continue with Google"
Login with your school account.
Where to Save Files
Once you are logged into Creative Cloud, there will be a folder in "Finder" titled "Creative Cloud Files" - This is where you should always save files to or move files to.
NO: Desktop, Documents, and Downloads (NOT saved on the cloud) - do NOT save here or expect your files to still be there later
Why? So you can use any computer anytime (computers break, get wiped, etc.)
At the end, make sure you upload any files you want later to Google Drive
Change Your Screenshot Location
On your keyboard, click "command + shift + 5"
Click "Options" then "Other Location..."
Choose "Creative Cloud Files" then click "New Folder"
Name the new folder "Screenshots" and click "Create"
Click "choose"
On your keyboard click "esc" to exit.
Take a Screenshot of your Dock
On your keyboard, click "command + shift + 5"
Adjust the rectangle to show your newly organized dock and click "Capture"
Submit to Canvas
Log in to Canvas via the Bethel portal (use your newly created shortcut)
Submit your screenshot.
