SUMMATIVE: Collage
Requirements
Create a digital collage (a bunch of photos/drawings combined together in a composition) using Adobe Fresco, Express, and Illustrator with the following:
Raster painted background blending multiple colors (Adobe Fresco)
6 overlapping images with the background removed (use Adobe Express)
3 Text boxes using at least one typography effect and one activated Adobe Font (Adobe Illustrator)
Hand-drawn or traced elements (either Adobe Fresco or Adobe Illustrator)

Brainstorm: Complete the Google Doc
Make a copy.
Complete
Click the "move" icon to adjust where this doc is to your "Graphic Design" > "6 - Tech" folder.
Painted Background (Adobe Fresco)
Create an 11x17 Canvas in Fresco
Start a new document: tap "+ Create new"
Under the "Print" tab, tap "Tabloid" (11x17 in)
Paint Using Pixel or Live Brushes
Use a live and/or pixel brush to color in the background
Blend multiple colors together.
Save Timelapse Video to Google Drive
Tap the share icon (the arrow and box) (top right corner)
Tap "Preview timelapse"
Tap "Export" then "Drive"
Go into the "Folder" area and tap "My Drive"
Tap your "Graphic Design Folder" > "6 - Tech"
Tap "Save here" in the bottom right
Tap "UPLOAD" in the top right
Transfer from Fresco to Illustrator
In Fresco, tap the share button
Tap "Open a copy"
Tap "Illustrator desktop"
On your iMac a pop-up should show up titled "Photoshop Import Options"
Click "OK"
Add Photos (Adobe Express & Illustrator)
Remove The Backgrounds of 6 Photos
Save 6 images.
Click "Sign in" in the top right and "Continue with Google"
Click the purple "+" button in the top left.
Under "Quick actions" click "Remove background"
Locate your image in "Finder" and drag it to the "Drag & drop an image" area.
If it looks like what you want, click "Download"
Repeat for all 6 images
In your "Downloads" folder drag them to your "My Drive" > "Graphic Design" > "6 - Tech" folder.
Add Your Images
Open Finder and find your downloaded images in your "My Drive" > "Graphic Design" > "6 - Tech" folder.
Drag the images to Illustrator.
Make sure it is selected and in the "Properties" panel, at the bottom under "Quick Actions" click "Embed"
Resize as you wish (remember to hold "shift" on your keyboard so it doesn't get squished).
Repeat for all 6 images.
Overlap and Arrange Images
Move around your images until you like how they are arranged.
To adjust what order your images are in, right-click and click "Arrange" then one of the options.
At least 3 must be overlapping with other images
Add Typography + Effect (Illustrator)
Create 3 text boxes
Use at least one activated Adobe Font
Use at least one typography effect from the Typography Effects formative
Type in a shape
Type on a path
3D Effects
Add Hand-Drawn or Traced Elements (Illustrator or Fresco)
Use either Adobe Fresco or Adobe Illustrator to create hand-drawn elements to add:
Adobe Illustrator: Use your Pen or Curvature tool to draw or trace various elements (lines, shapes, or forms) that work with your collage.
Adobe Fresco: Use any brush to draw or trace various elements (lines, shapes, or forms) that work with your collage. Add to your collage in Adobe Illustrator.
Save Your Poster
Because your file is saved on Creative Cloud, it will be a ".aic" file - this means Illustrator saves your file every 5 minutes.
If you see an asterisk (*), that means there are unsaved changes.
To save, in the top menu, click "File" > "Save"
If "Save" is grayed out, it means your file has already been automatically saved.
Save As PDF
In top menu, click "File" > "Save As..."
Choose "Save on your computer" this time.
Save it to your "My Drive"> "Graphic Design" > "6 - Tech"
For"Format:" choose "Adobe PDF (pdf)" from the drop-down
Click "Save"
Click "Save PDF"
Check & Submit Google Drive
Check that you have the following 3 files to your "6 - Tech" Google Drive folder:
Timelapse video of painted background (from Fresco)
Exported PDF (from Illustrator)
Brainstorm Google Doc
Right-click on your "Graphic Design" folder
Click "Copy link to clipboard"
Paste this link in Canvas to submit.
