Using Adobe Fresco's pixel or live brushes, trace a reference photo to be as photorealistic as you can.
On your iPad:
Find an image of an object online, or save one of the images below.
Click and hold on the image then click "Save to Photos"
Open Adobe Fresco
If you need to login, "Continue with Google"
Start a new document: tap "+ Create new"
Tap "Letter"
Click the photo icon then click "Photos"
Find the template photo in your Photos Library and select.
Once it opens in Fresco, make it as large as possible without stretching it (only drag the corners)
Click "Done" in the top right corner.
Choose a pixel or live brush. I recommend the following brushes when creating photorealistic art:
Pixel: Marker > Marker brush
Pixel: Mixer > Brushy mixer
Pixel: Mixer > Detailer mixer
Zoom into a part of the photograph so you can see different colors and details.
To zoom in, use two fingers and drag apart
Pull a color by using either:
Use Logitech Crayon: Tap the eyedropper tool, then tap a color on your image. This will place this color into your color swatch for you to paint with
Use Finger: Long press on a place on your template photo to copy the color. This will bring up a magnified area to show the specific color. Then let go. This will place this color into your color swatch for you to paint with
Start to trace over that part of the image with your brush.
In the layers area, select your reference image
Tap the eye icon to hide the image.
This allows you to see just your painting so far.
Tap the eye icon again to unhide the image.
Continue pulling colors and painting with your brush to trace the image.
Try to create an image that looks as close to the photo as possible.
Once time is up or you finish:
In the layers area, select your reference image
Tap the eye icon to hide the image.
