Keyframes (Start & End)
A keyframe marks the point in time where you specify something such as position, opacity, or volume. To create a change over time, you set at least two keyframes—one keyframe for the value at the beginning of the change, and another keyframe for the value at the end of the change.
Keyframes Example: Opacity
With your text selected and your playhead on the text in the timeline, go to the top-left panel "Effects Controls"
Move your blue line out a few seconds (either with your mouse or keyboard arrows)
Click the little timer icon next to "Opacity" (this creates a starting keyframe at 100%)
