SUMMATIVE: Premiere Pro
Requirements
Choose your video content and include all 5 clips
Find/import audio and mark (at least 3 markers).
Trim your videos to transition with the audio markers.
Trim videos so that your full video is less than 30 seconds
Adjust the speed on one of your video clips to be either faster or slower.
Create at least 3 text layers
Use keyframes to change 3 different effects over time
Choose Your Video content
Go to the SUMMATIVE Google Drive Folder
Look through the different folders. Each folder has 5 clips from the same scene.
Choose 1 folder of videos
Download each of the 5 videos.
Connect Headphones
Either connect your own headphones or borrow a pair from the cabinet.
DOwnload Music from Pixabay
Go to Pixabay.com/music
Find a song you like and click "Download"
Move Files & rename Folder
Go to your Finder in your dock.
Go to "Downloads"
Put your videos and audio file into a new folder by selecting all of them, and right-clicking then clicking "New Folder with Selection"
Rename it something related to your video content.
Move the folder to your "Creative Cloud Files" folder on the left menu.
Rename Project & Import
Open Creative Cloud in your dock. Under the "Apps" tab, find Premiere Pro and click "Open" to the right
Click "New Project"
Name your project: Summative
Click "Home" on the left menu
Double-click the "Creative Cloud Files" folder.
Select your new folder with your downloaded and renamed videos and music.
Click "Create"
Edit
Edit your video according to the requirements:
On Screen Grading
When you are finished, raise your hand for on-screen grading.
Save Your Project
In the top menu, click "File" > "Save"

On your keyboard click "cmd" + "shift" + "5" at the same time to bring up the screenshot screen
Adjust the rectangle around your timeline and click capture
Export Your Video
In the top tabs, click "Export"
Rename the "File Name" to "Summative"
Make sure the blue hyperlink next to "Location" says "Creative Cloud Files" at the end. If it doesn't:
Double-click on the blue hyperlink next to "Location"
In the pop-up:
In the "Where" area, select "Creative Cloud Files"
Click "Save"
Click Export in the bottom right corner.
Upload to Canvas
Upload your exported video and timeline screenshot to Canvas.
