Dual Credit
Overview
Dual Credit is an opportunity for you to get college credit for FREE! You must register during the year you take the courses in order to get your grades submitted in the state-wide system and then you must request a transcript. Once you have the transcript, you can take that to your college and see what credits they will give you.
Video Production 1 & 2
If you get a C or better in Video Production 1 & 2 you can earn credit from Bates Technical College for:
BROAD 122 (5 Credits)
BROAD 132 (5 Credits)
BROAD 142 (5 Credits)
Graphic Design 1 & 2
If you get a C or better in Graphic Design 1 & 2 you can earn credits from Clover Park Technical College for:
Steps to take:
Register in SERS during Video Production 1 or Graphic Design 1 class
Mrs. Hodges will input your grade at the end of Graphic Design 1
Repeat steps 1 and 2 for Video Production 2 or Graphic Design 2 (must be done before the end of the year you take it)
Send a transcription request to Clover Park or Bates (within 5 years)
Take your transcript to your post-secondary institute for transfer credit
Create a SERS Account
If you already have a SERS account because you are getting Dual Credit for another class, log in at: https://www.ctesers.org/Account/StudentLogin
If you don't already have an account, go to: https://www.ctesers.org/Account/CreateStudent
Click "Student"
Click "Create New SERS Account"
Create a Student Account:
Choose a Username
Fill out the form
Use your personal email (NOT your school email)
Follow the instructions to create your password.
Log in
Record Username and Email
In Canvas, go to the "Dual Credit Registration" assignment.
Respond to the reflection questions
Register for Classes
Click the "Registration" > "Register for Classes
Fill in search options:
School District: Bethel School District
High School: Graham Kapowsin High School
Teacher: HODGES, EMMA
Click "Search"
Check the box in the left column under "Check to Register"
Click "Register Classes"
Click "Save & Register"

If you haven't joined the course, click "Join Course"
After you have completed Graphic Design 2 or Video Production 2:
Transcript Request Forms
Once you want a transcript of your dual credit courses:
Go to: https://pc3dualcredit.org/dual-credit-program/students-parents/
Click the correct form link:
Bates (Video Production)
Clover Park (Graphic Design)
Email this request form to: postdualcredit@pc3connect.org
Submit Transcript to Your Post-Secondary School
Once you have your official transcript, take it to your college registrar's office
They will review the transcript and decide what to give you credit for.
