Gatorade Ad
Project Brief
Create a 1-minute advertisement video for Gatorade (or a product of your groups' choosing)
Film & Upload Shots
In your camera group, film at least 20 different shots (at least 5 seconds each)
Split camera operation evenly with each group member
Shots should be in focus and exposed correctly
Upload all of your shots from your group to your iMac
Find and Download An Image & Logo
Find an image and logo from Gatorade (or your product) that you want to use in your video
Download
Find Music
Go to Pixabay.com/music
Find a song you like. Remember you only need 10-15 seconds of audio.
Click "Download"
Move Files to Creative CLoud Files
Go to your Finder in your dock.
Move your footage, audio file, image, and logo to Creative Cloud Files
Put your videos and audio file into a new folder by selecting all of them, and right-clicking then clicking "New Folder with Selection"Â
New ProjecT
On the Import screen:
Next to "Project name" type "Gatorade Ad"
Click "Home" on the left menu
Double-click the "Creative Cloud Files" folder.
Select your new folder
On the right side, turn off "Create new sequence"
Click "Create"
Editing Requirements
The following requirements are skills that were practiced in our formative work. Don't remember? Review: Premiere Pro (Jones Soda) and Color Grading Intro.
Include at least 10 different shots
Include an image and a logo
Audio:
Mark the transitions/beats.
Edit your video transitions to align with markers.
Adjust the speed on one of your video clips to be either faster or slower.
Create at least 1 text layer
Use keyframes 3 different times to change 3 different effects over time
Color correct your footage
Color grade your video consistently
Save Project
In the top menu, click "File" > "Save"
On Screen Grading
Ask Mrs. Hodges to on-screen grade your project.
Take a Screenshot of Your Editing Timeline
On your keyboard press "cmd" + "shift" + "4"
Use the screenshot crosshairs to click and drag from the top left of the editing timeline to the bottom right.
Export Your Video
In the top menu, click "File" > "Export" > "Media..."
The File Name should be "Jones Soda"
Double-click on the blue hyperlink next to "Location" and in the pop-up:
Click on "Creative..." (Creative Cloud Files) on the left toolbar
Click "Save"
Click "Export" in the bottom right corner.
Upload to Canvas
Upload your screenshot and exported video to Canvas.
