Choose a scraps supplies set (1 small canvas pouch, 1 large black/white vinyl, 1 smaller scrap)
Create a design using your scraps by drawing vector graphics in Fresco
Transfer from Fresco to Illustrator to prep for production
Produce using a Cricut cutting machine and iron-on vinyl
Open Adobe Fresco.
Start a new document: tap "Custom Size"
Change "Untitled..." to: "Last Name, Scraps Challenge"
Unit: Inches
W: 4.5
H: 4
Tap the photo icon and tap "Camera"
Tap "Allow"
Take a photo of your small canvas pouch, and two vinyl scraps. Make sure they're spread out and not overlapping.
Don't adjust the size yet. Tap "Done"
Tap the sliders icon in the top right.
Adjust the Layer opacity to somewhere between 60-70
Drag the corners of the photo until the pouch is slightly larger than the Artboard (The whole photo will be much larger than the artboard.)
Click "Done"
Use the vector brushes/paint bucket to draw your design using the colors of your vinyl scraps.
Hide the layer that your photo of your pouch is in so you can only see your design.
Then hide the bottom layer (white background)
Tap the share icon at the top
Tap "Publish & Export"
Tap "Export as"
Choose "PDF"
Tap "Export"
Tap "Drive"
Go into the "Folder" area and tap "My Drive"
Tap "Graphic Design 2"
Make a new folder and name: "1 - Production"
Tap "Save here" in the bottom right
Tap "UPLOAD" in the top right
Tap the share icon (the arrow and box) (top right corner)
Tap "Preview timelapse"
Tap "Export" then "Drive"
Go into the "Folder" area and tap "1 - Production"
Tap "Save here" in the bottom right
Tap "UPLOAD" in the top right
Go to the "Google Drive" app
Go to "Files"
Find your "Graphic Design" folder and click the "..." to the right then "Copy link"
Go to the Canvas app and find the assignment
Click "Submit Assignment"
Tap the text entry area twice and tap "Paste"
Click "Submit"
